Description
The University of Missouri is seeking a supplier to furnish and deliver No. 2 low-sulfur fuel oil, also described as off-road dyed diesel, to multiple storage locations at the University of Missouri-Kansas City campus. The fuel must be a winter blend suitable for the Kansas City metropolitan area, contain the required red dye, comply with the latest applicable ASTM D975 standards and all applicable laws, and be free of water, sediment, and other contaminants. Deliveries must use straight trucks because of access limitations at certain locations and must include delivery tickets identifying the date, location, product, and gallon quantity. The estimated annual volume is approximately 47,000 gallons, although quantities are not guaranteed and may increase or decrease according to operational needs. Pricing must be submitted as a fixed markup or markdown in cents per gallon applied to the OPIS Kansas City Rack Average, inclusive of transportation, delivery, labor, overhead, and profit. The initial contract term begins November 1, 2026, runs for three years, and includes two optional one-year renewals.
