The Defense Logistics Agency Energy is publishing an annual procurement forecast for fiscal year 2027 petroleum acquisitions. The forecast covers estimated foreign and domestic requirements totaling approximately 77.476 million barrels, including 69.344 million barrels of Bulk and PCS fuel, 3.939 million barrels of Intro-Plane fuel, 2.012 million barrels of bunkers, and 2.182 million barrels of non-contract fuel. This notice is a forecast rather than a solicitation for a specific purchase. Quantities are estimates only, and potential offerors must refer to individual future solicitations for precise requirements. The forecast may allow reduced notice periods for qualifying acquisitions under the applicable federal procurement rules.
