Description
This RFP seeks qualified suppliers for a national, non-exclusive master agreement covering automotive oils, lubricants, fluids, greases, coolants, antifreeze, diesel exhaust fluid, specialty lubricants, OEM-specific lubricants, and other related products. Product groups include conventional, synthetic blend, full synthetic, high-mileage, and heavy-duty diesel engine oils; lubricating oils; transmission fluids; gear oils; hydraulic fluids; greases; coolants; and antifreeze. Products must meet applicable manufacturer, OEM, industry, and regulatory specifications, including applicable API and ILSAC standards, remain within manufacturer shelf-life limits, and be traceable by batch or lot number. Suppliers must provide products in various quantities and packaging formats, deliver across Canada, support warranty claims, provide customer and account support, and accommodate ordering, delivery, reporting, and invoicing requirements. The procurement may result in one or more master agreements, potentially one per OEM, with no guaranteed volume or exclusivity. Proponents may be OEMs, Canadian OEM affiliates or authorized resellers; non-OEM proponents must submit an OEM authorization letter for each applicable OEM.
