Description
The City of Beaumont is seeking bids for a six-month contract to provide automotive lubricants and related fluids for municipal use, including engine oils, transmission and hydraulic fluids, automatic transmission fluids, coolants, Caterpillar TO-4 lubricants, and diesel exhaust fluid. Quantities are approximate and not guaranteed. Products must meet the specified technical standards, and applicable manufacturer specifications, warranties, certificates of authenticity, manifests, and safety data sheets are required. Repackaged products are prohibited. For the item specifying Shell Spirax S6 ATF A295 automatic transmission fluid for transmissions requiring Allison TES-295 fluids, the City has clarified that Allison TES-668 fluid is also acceptable. The contract has an initial six-month term with two additional six-month renewal periods.
