Description
Providence Public Schools is soliciting proposals from agencies to provide Speech and Language Pathologist Supervisors, certified Speech and Language Pathologist Assistants, and other support staff serving students who need speech and language services. Supervisors will oversee assistants, ensure appropriate assignments and licensure compliance, conduct competency evaluations, document supervisory activities, develop and modify treatment plans, and make case-management decisions. Assistants will provide direct services aligned with student IEPs, consult with school staff, prepare progress documentation, work across assigned locations, communicate with families, provide home instruction when required, document services for Medicaid billing, and assist with screenings and evaluations. Proposals must include bidder information, pricing for the initial term and two option years, proposer qualifications and experience, a work plan addressing recruitment, placement, retention, support, supervision, professional development, credentialing, and invoicing, candidate resumes without personally identifiable information, and any proposed exceptions to the standard terms. Proposals will be evaluated on executive summary, experience, vendor capability and qualifications, and work plan; a minimum technical score of 75 out of 100 is required before cost review. The initial term runs from contract execution through June 30, 2027, with options through June 30, 2029, subject to mutual agreement, funding, and district needs.
