Description
Petersburg School District (PSD) is requesting proposals from qualified occupational therapists to provide itinerant services for the 2024-2025 school year. The contractor will perform screenings and evaluations of sensory, fine-motor, and self-care skills for children aged 3-21, and provide related services to support the educational programs of students who qualify for special education services. The estimated caseload is 30 students across pre-K through 12th grade. The contract includes 15 student contact days and 10.5 non-student contact days (75 hours total) for screening, evaluation, direct student contact, collaboration, and training. Additional hours may be requested based on student needs. The therapist must hold a Master's degree in occupational therapy, current Alaska licensure, and preferably a Type C Special Services certificate. Experience in pediatric and school-based OT is preferred.
