Description
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice is soliciting multiple firm-fixed-price contracts for grease trap waste services at facilities throughout Texas. The scope includes furnishing all labor, vehicles, equipment, and supplies necessary to remove, collect, transport, and dispose of fats, oils, grease, solids, and debris from grease interceptor systems. Services include routine vactoring, pumping, cleaning, disposal, annual deep cleaning, hydro-jetting, emergency response, manifests, and related recordkeeping in compliance with applicable local, state, and federal wastewater regulations. The solicitation lists quarterly service as the general frequency, with monthly service required at the Clemens, Huntsville, and Memorial Units, subject to changes in the facilities served. Contractors must have at least five years of grease trap waste transporter experience and TCEQ registration to haul grease trap waste. The contract has a nine-month base period beginning December 1, 2026, with four one-year renewal options and a possible six-month extension for transition or re-advertising purposes.
