Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting one ImmunoCard STAT EHEC E. coli detection test kit, National Stock Number 6550-01-625-5025, part number 751630, manufactured by Meridian Bioscience, Inc. The kit must provide rapid qualitative detection of Shiga toxins 1 and 2 produced by E. coli in cultures derived from clinical stool specimens, include 30 test devices and the specified controls and disposable materials, and be stored refrigerated at 2–8 degrees Celsius. The item is FDA-regulated and must meet the stated packaging, marking, shelf-life, and delivery requirements. The solicitation requires a 24-month non-extendable shelf life, with no more than three months elapsed from manufacture to delivery. One unit is required, delivered FOB destination within five days after order, with destination inspection and acceptance. Alternate products require complete supporting technical data for evaluation.
