Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting one chlamydia trachomatis detection test kit, NSN 6550-01-725-3600, for qualitative direct immunofluorescence testing of chlamydia in human urogenital and ophthalmic specimens and confirmation of chlamydiae in cell culture. The kit must include two positive control slides, mounting fluid, chlamydia test reagent, and instructions for use, and must contain sufficient materials for 50 cell-culture preparations. The item is for in vitro diagnostic use and is FDA-regulated. The supplied kit must have a 24-month non-extendable shelf life, with no more than three months elapsed from manufacture to delivery, require refrigerated storage at 2–8 degrees Celsius, and comply with specified medical packaging, marking, inspection, and delivery requirements.
