Description
The district seeks a vendor to deliver Level 1 and Level 2 training in restorative practices and restorative justice conferencing. The training must cover restorative-practice theory, engaging students, staff, and parents, setting expectations while providing support, building community, giving direct feedback, fostering accountability, resolving conflicts, and selecting appropriate restorative processes. It must include facilitation of proactive and responsive circles, formal conferencing after wrongdoing or harm, and training staff to become trainers. The scope anticipates five Level 1 and three Level 2 sessions for each training area, with cohorts of up to 45 participants for Level 1 and up to 10 for Level 2. Sessions are to be held in person at a district location; the vendor provides training and materials, coordinates trainer travel, and provides follow-up as needed to support implementation. The district anticipates scheduling sessions between November 2026 and June 2027 and intends a one-year contract, with two additional one-year renewal options at the same cost, subject to district discretion and available funding. The proposal must include customer references with contact information, relevant experience and project methodology, and an all-inclusive cost proposal with session rates and total training cost.
