Lexington County School District One is establishing a pool of qualified education and training consultants through a Fixed Price Bid process. Consultants may be engaged to provide services including: preparing and conducting professional development for teachers, administrators, and families; delivering speeches at district conferences or meetings; providing technical assistance; analyzing data and making recommendations; serving on or chairing task forces for educational studies; developing, editing, or reviewing curriculum, assessments, or related documents; and serving as mentors, coaches, assessors, or grant readers. The contract will have a one-year base term with four one-year renewal options, for a maximum qualification period of five years. Multiple bid openings will be held throughout the award period to allow additional consultants to qualify. Consultants must propose a daily rate not to exceed $6,500. The district will issue purchase orders for specific engagements, and work must not begin without a purchase order.
