Description
The North Carolina Department of Public Safety, Division of Emergency Management, is soliciting bids from vendors prequalified under specified request-for-prequalification solicitations to provide residential acquisition and demolition construction services under Hazard Mitigation Grant Program project 4827-0025. The scope includes homeowner coordination, duplication-of-benefits analysis, title searches, licensed appraisals, written purchase offers, closing and document preparation, demolition, asbestos and lead-related work, utility disconnection and removal, debris disposal, grading and seeding, permitting, inspections, and project documentation. The bid covers 19 identified properties in Mecklenburg County, with additional optioned properties under project numbers 4827-0089 and 4827-0200. Vendors must complete the provided pricing workbook for each property and provide project time frames. The resulting contract has an initial two-year term with one possible additional one-year renewal term. Performance and payment bonds in the full contract amount are required after purchase-order issuance, and a 5% bid bond is required for bids exceeding $500,000. Electronic responses only are accepted through the State's sourcing tool.
