Description
The City of Charlotte is soliciting sealed bids for four storm drainage improvement projects: rehabilitation of an existing reinforced concrete box culvert; replacement of failing reinforced concrete pipe on two roadway segments; and installation of new storm drainage infrastructure, including reinforced concrete pipe, drainage structures, curb and gutter, and related roadway improvements. The work also includes grading, erosion control, traffic control, culvert cleaning and rehabilitation, asphalt and concrete work, riprap, flowable fill, pumping, shoring, and other associated construction activities. Utility relocations are required, including water and sanitary sewer work. The estimated project cost is $1,425,701.00. Bids must be submitted as sealed bids to Charlotte Water's Contracts Administration Section; electronic submissions through the procurement portal are not accepted.
