Charlotte Water is soliciting sealed bids for construction at two storm drainage project sites: 805 Lynn Street and 3653 Trailer Drive. The work includes installation and realignment of reinforced concrete pipe systems, construction of new outfall connections, and CIPP lining of existing 15-inch and 24-inch pipes. The electronic bid form identifies additional work including mobilization, grading, select and borrow excavation, traffic and erosion control, concrete curb ramps, fencing, flowable fill, rock removal, erosion-control matting, stilling basins, pump-around operations, foundation conditioning, pipe culverts, asphalt paving, drainage structures, riprap, signage, pavement markings, utility materials, and sanitary sewer bypass pumping. The estimated project cost is $1,397,338. A 10% Small Business Enterprise participation goal applies.
