Description
The University of North Carolina at Charlotte is seeking a beverage partner to provide comprehensive pouring rights, beverage vending, and related marketing and sponsorship services across all university campuses, facilities, and Charlotte 49ers Athletics venues. The scope includes exclusive beverage supply and service, equipment installation and maintenance, vending operations, campus dining and retail support, athletics concessions, marketing, sponsorships, commissions, rebates, and other financial or in-kind commitments. Current campus inventory includes 57 Coca-Cola and 53 Pepsi vending machines, and the solicitation provides historical beverage-volume data as the common baseline for financial evaluation. Addendum #4 materially revises the evaluation and submission requirements. Financial proposals will be scored on ten-year total value to the University rather than lowest cost, using guaranteed commitments, variable commissions and rebates based on the common volume baseline, and qualifying in-kind value. Proposers must submit a separate Revised Attachment A: Financial Proposal; dollar values must not appear in the technical proposal. The addendum also confirms that the current Pepsi Bottling Ventures and Coca-Cola Consolidated agreements expire July 4, 2027, and requires a signed copy of Addendum #4 with the proposal.
