Description
The City of Charlotte is soliciting an indefinite-quantity, unit-price contract for Portland Type I/II Cement. The estimated annual quantity is 250 tons for delivered cement and 250 tons for cement picked up by city-owned vehicles, but actual purchases will be made on an as-needed basis with no guaranteed minimum quantity. Delivered cement must be blow-filled into a silo or tanker and provided within 48 hours of an order; prices must include delivery, freight, storage, and all other costs. The cement must comply with AASHTO M 85 for Type I or Type II cement or ASTM C150. The contract supports sidewalk, curb and gutter, driveway, traffic-signal foundation, pedestrian-signal foundation, and accessible-ramp maintenance and repair. Bidders must submit the portal bid response, pricing sheet, non-discrimination provision, references form, exceptions form, required questionnaires, acknowledgments, product descriptions, and company personnel-selection policies. The initial term is three years, with up to two one-year renewal options.
