Description
Martin County is considering continuing Community Redevelopment Area (CRA) planning and development review consulting services currently provided by Deanna Freeman, LLC. The consultant supports projects in the County’s six established CRAs, from concept planning and pre-application discussions through application review, resubmissions, staff coordination, workshops, Neighborhood Advisory Committee meetings, and public hearings. The work also includes helping staff and applicants understand applicable CRA codes, policies, procedures, and development requirements, and assisting County staff with evaluating and potentially clarifying those codes and procedures. The services are advisory and supplemental; they do not replace County staff’s review, project management, decision-making, or approval authority. The proposed continuation is for two years, with a total not-to-exceed amount of $240,000 and annual expenditures capped at $120,000. This is a notice seeking information to determine whether bona fide competition exists, not a solicitation for contract award.
