This presolicitation notice anticipates a firm-fixed-price construction purchase order to rehabilitate flood-damaged channel and bank improvements. Work includes removing or repairing damaged channel features such as eroded banks, gabion baskets, concrete buttresses, and grouted riprap, as well as temporary stream diversion and bypass pumping, dewatering, effluent filtration, and erosion and sediment controls. The contractor must comply with USACE safety requirements and provide a full-time Level 1 Site Safety and Health Officer, a qualified superintendent, and a certified Quality Control System Manager. The work is to be completed within 365 calendar days after written Notice to Proceed. The anticipated construction cost is $300,000 to $350,000. This is a presolicitation notice, not an active request for quotes; the solicitation is anticipated to be issued through PIEE. Quotes will be evaluated on price and past performance.
