Description
The City of Wharton is seeking an experienced planning firm to develop, adopt, and implement a modern Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Update addressing community growth, infrastructure needs, economic opportunities, small-town character, and resilience to flooding, severe storms, drought, and extreme heat. The selected consultant will also navigate and manage the grant process with the General Land Office through its Community Development Block Grant-Mitigation Resilient Communities Program. Proposals must include three complete sets and one electronic version, submitted in a sealed envelope; facsimile and email submissions are not accepted. The solicitation encourages minority and small business vendors or contractors to submit proposals.
