Description
The City seeks one or more qualified planning and land use consulting firms to provide professional services on an as-needed, task-based basis in support of its Community and Economic Development Department. Work may include development application review; planning analyses, findings, and staff reports; applicant assistance; support for planning commission and city council meetings and public hearings; land use code and regulatory updates; public outreach; and long-range or special planning projects. Deliverables may include review comments, reports, recommendations, code amendments, planning studies, maps, presentations, and activity summaries. Firms must meet the stated minimum qualifications, including at least three years providing comparable services and being licensed and in good standing in their state of registration. Submissions must include completed Appendix A (Cost Proposal and Rate Schedule) and Appendix B (Vendor Information and Certification), acknowledgment of issued addenda, and any technical data sheets or other documentation required by the scope. The City will evaluate qualifications and rates and may shortlist firms for interviews. The City anticipates task-based agreements but guarantees no minimum amount of work.
