Description
The City of Aurora is requesting statements of qualifications from qualified, licensed, and insured modular housing manufacturers for a planned tiny home village near Hartsel, Colorado. The scope includes design, pre-construction coordination, engineering, materials selection, per-unit cost estimates, factory fabrication, State of Colorado certification, delivery, and optional on-site installation of a minimum of 50 permanent tiny houses and up to 50 temporary tiny homes on wheels. The permanent units are anticipated to include studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom configurations, with heating and air conditioning, washer/dryer, cooking appliances, dishwashers, and full interior furnishings. Respondents must demonstrate relevant modular housing experience, Colorado regulatory experience, staffing capacity, engineering capabilities, installation or construction-administration experience, proof of at least $1 million in general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage, a detailed project schedule, and up to three comparable references completed within the past 10 years. Responses are evaluated across the letter of interest, experience and qualifications, scope of services, schedule, and references.
