Description
Canadian Heritage, through the Government of Canada, is seeking a standing offer with one contractor for the rental of mobile units styled as construction-site trailers for event headquarters, first-aid centres, offices, storage areas, cafeterias, and artists’ dressing rooms. The contractor must provide the units and all equipment, materials, and labour required for transportation, installation, maintenance, de-installation, and retrieval. Units must be available in specified dimensions, with functional electrical systems compatible with CS6369 receptacles, heating and air conditioning, lighting, lockable doors and windows, stairs, railings, and flexible interior partitions. The requirement also includes durable floor and stair protection for skating-related sites, delivery and retrieval six days per week, emergency response, layout drawings, and installation on hard surfaces, grass, snow, or ice. The procurement will establish a standing offer through July 31, 2028, with up to two additional one-year option periods. Offerors must demonstrate three completed projects from the previous five years involving simultaneous deployment of at least ten mobile units, including transportation, installation, maintenance, and removal; at least one project must have been performed on snow, ice, or a snow-covered surface. The offer must include technical, financial, and declaration materials, and the successful contractor must maintain commercial general liability insurance of at least $5,000,000 per accident or occurrence and in the annual aggregate. Only Canadian suppliers are eligible, and the solicitation uses lowest evaluated price with mandatory technical criteria.
