Description
The University of Akron is soliciting a single supplier to furnish pre-purchased electrical equipment for the Infrastructure Improvements Electrical Phase IV project. The specified equipment includes pad-mounted transformers, medium-voltage pad-mounted switchgear, and medium-voltage metal-enclosed switchgear. The supplier must provide indoor, conditioned storage for the equipment until May 2028. The scope also includes any startup, commissioning, training, or other services specified in the attached documents. Installation and field testing are identified as work under separate contracts. Price is the primary evaluation criterion, with lead time considered secondarily; the award is to one vendor offering the best price and lead time. Pricing must be in U.S. dollars, FOB destination, with freight prepaid by the vendor.
