Description
The Quinault Indian Nation seeks independent contractors to provide direct in-home chore services to Elders. Work includes residential housekeeping (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, surface cleaning, and kitchen and bathroom sanitizing), trash disposal, linen changes, general interior upkeep, and assistance with activities of daily living. Other duties may be assigned. Contractors must be at least 18, have a valid Washington State driver's license and reliable transportation, and be available on a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends. A criminal background check and drug screening are required. Proposals must describe qualifications and similar work and include at least three references. Experience, qualifications, and past performance/references are scored. The selected contractor must obtain a Quinault Indian Nation business license; a W-9 is due within 10 days after contract signing. Indian preference applies, with Tribal Employment Rights Office certification required for Indian contractors seeking that preference. Respondents also need a UEI and SAM.gov registration and must not be federally suspended or debarred.
