Description
METRO Regional Transit Authority seeks a qualified broker to manage its employee health insurance program and provide brokerage and risk management services. The scope includes marketing and negotiating medical, prescription, vision, and dental coverage; advising on other insurance lines; preparing renewal strategies and annual reports; reviewing claims and coverage; and providing ongoing account management, employee support, benefit education, and quarterly utilization and performance reports. The broker must provide a dedicated account manager, respond to inquiries within 24 hours, attend meetings as needed, and support benefit fairs and open enrollment. Proposals must include a fixed annual fee and disclose all compensation. Insurance coverage must not be marketed or insurers contacted before Broker of Record authorization.
