Description
The City seeks comprehensive custodial services five nights per week for a 24,000-plus-square-foot community center. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, supplies, and equipment, except that the City will supply paper products, dispenser soap, urinal cakes, and sanitary napkin bags. Work includes nightly cleaning of common areas, meeting and programming rooms, the multipurpose room and kitchen, restrooms, gymnasium, locker areas, and stairwells, plus specified weekly cleaning tasks. The indoor track requires weekly handrail sanitizing only; other routine cleaning there is excluded. Proposals must include fixed monthly pricing for service in 2027, 2028, and 2029; pricing for as-needed sixth-night cleaning; any limitations or minimum notice requirements for that extra service; and any optional or value-added services. Responders must also provide company background and references, staffing plans and schedules, and a description of their customer-service and issue-resolution approach. The agreement is scheduled to run from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2029, subject to the City's 30-day cancellation right.
