Description
The City seeks qualified consultants for on-call, as-needed professional support to the Akron Engineering Bureau across 27 disciplines. Services include architecture; civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, water and wastewater, stormwater, geotechnical, and other engineering; surveying; construction management and materials testing; environmental and cultural-resource work; permitting; public relations; parking consulting; technical software; and related specialties. The attached scope documents describe discipline-specific tasks, which will be assigned through individual service requests. Respondents must submit a Letter of Interest and a Price Rate Proposal through EUNA/Bonfire. The Letter of Interest is limited to six single-sided pages, excluding resumes and the Price Rate Proposal, and must follow the stated font, margin, and page-numbering requirements. The proposal must include the requested firm and staff qualifications, relevant experience, approach to cost estimating and cost control, capacity, suitability, and disclosure of applicable SBE, DBE, or similar certifications, along with the requested rate information. Selected consultants may be invited to interview and will enter five-year agreements; rates may be updated annually.
