Heavy Equipment Rental for Dust Mitigation

Description
The California Department of Parks and Recreation, through the Oceano Dunes District, is soliciting bids for rental of one full-size rubber wide-track tractor and one compatible direct-mount pull-behind dump scraper. The tractor must weigh approximately 50,000 to 60,000 pounds, have a 500-to-600-horsepower engine, and include the specified hitch, drawbar, enclosed cab, and hydraulic controls. The scraper must provide hydraulic lifting, scraping, loading, and dumping while in motion and have a cutting width compatible with the tractor. The contractor must provide delivery, pickup, equipment maintenance, repairs, and required inspections. Equipment will be used for dust mitigation in a sand dune and coastal environment. The bid must include all items in the Cost Breakdown and all completed forms identified on the Bidder's Checklist; partial bids will not be considered. The solicitation includes a Small Business Preference Program, while the DVBE participation requirement is waived but DVBE incentives remain available.
