INVITATION TO BID #26-048 LIFT RENTALS FOR CELEBRATION OF LIGHTS CITY OF O'FALLON, MISSOURIThe City of O'Fallon, Missouri is accepting sealed bids for Lift Rentals for Celebration of Lights. Specifications are available at www.ofallonmo.gov/bid-opportunities. Interested vendors should submit sealed bids clearly marked "Bid #26-048 Lift rentals for celebration of lights" to the City of O'Fallon, Attn: Garrett O'Mara, Purchasing Agent, 100 North Main Street, O'Fallon, MO 63366 by 2:30 P.M. CDT on September 24, 2026. The City of O'Fallon reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any irregularities. Description
The City of O'Fallon is soliciting sealed bids to furnish and deliver various aerial lifts for its annual Celebration of Lights event. The requested equipment includes 40-foot straight lifts; 45-foot straight or articulating lifts; and 60-, 65-, and 80-foot articulating lifts. Bidders must provide 14-day and 30-day rental pricing, delivery and round-trip fuel charges, environmental fees, weather dates, and miscellaneous expenses. Delivery is to Fort Zumwalt Park Maintenance Shed. Rentals will be used in January, October, and November each year. The agreement has a three-year initial term with options for two additional one-year periods. Bidders must submit the supplied bid forms, pricing, references, required affidavits and certifications, and any applicable supporting documentation. The bid requires one original, no bid bond, and sealed physical delivery; facsimile and email submissions are not accepted. Commercial general liability and automobile liability coverage of $3,500,000 is required, along with workers' compensation coverage and an original certificate of insurance naming the City as an additional insured.
