Description
Volusia County is soliciting rental services for landfill equipment used by its Solid Waste Division. Requested equipment includes Caterpillar D6, D7, and D8 or equivalent waste handlers, and Caterpillar 836 and 826 or equivalent compactors. Vendors must provide equipment in good condition, maintain or replace equipment as needed, and include delivery and transportation in the quoted daily, weekly, and monthly rates. The County will provide fuel. The initial agreement term is three years, with two optional one-year renewals. Award may be made to multiple responsive and responsible vendors. Respondents must complete the price sheet and submit the required questionnaire responses, forms, certifications, references, and proof of insurance. Three similar projects completed within the last three years are required for past-performance evaluation.
