Description
The California Department of Water Resources, Delta Field Division, is soliciting as-needed light equipment rental services for operations across Alameda, Contra Costa, Napa, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Santa Clara, Solano, and Stanislaus counties. The equipment schedule includes air compressors, aerial lifts, concrete equipment, forklifts, generators, pumps, hoses and fittings, tractors, excavators, mowers, trucks, trailers, trenchers, rollers, utility vehicles, boats, spill containment equipment, and miscellaneous tools and equipment. The contractor must provide requested equipment within 48 hours under normal conditions and within four hours during emergencies, maintain 24/7 telephone availability, deliver and retrieve equipment as directed, provide preoperational safety briefings and requested training, maintain equipment in working order, and comply with applicable California Highway Patrol, occupational safety, air-quality, licensing, and business-license requirements. The contractor must have an equipment rental yard within 30 miles of the Delta Field Division Operations and Maintenance Center. The solicitation requires pricing for the listed equipment, relocation, training, damage and toll invoices, and travel time; there is no guaranteed quantity of work. The agreement is anticipated to run for three years.
