Description
The City of St. Louis, Missouri, is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide stump removal services on an as-needed basis. The selected contractor will be awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract and will perform work through formal work orders. Services include the complete removal of stumps to a minimum depth of 12 inches below grade, backfilling holes with stump grindings, and restoring the affected areas. Contractors must also handle debris disposal, coordinate with the City's Project Manager, and comply with all applicable regulations. The City has approximately 8,000 known stumps throughout the city. The contract will be awarded based on unit rates for stump removal by diameter, with time-and-materials pricing also required. The evaluation will consider cost (50 points), experience and qualifications (25 points), and capacity and resources (25 points).
