Description
The West Virginia Purchasing Division, on behalf of the West Virginia Department of Tourism, is soliciting bids for the roof replacement of the Culture Center (Building 9) at the State Capitol Complex in Charleston, West Virginia. The project involves the complete removal of the existing roofing system and installation of a new roofing assembly, including insulation, vapor barrier, flashings, drainage components, penetrations, accessories, and all related work to provide a complete watertight roofing system. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, permits, transportation, disposal, insurance, and bonds. The project has a 90-day substantial completion period and 100-day final completion period from notice to proceed. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for June 24, 2026, at 10:00 AM EST at the Culture Center. Bids are due by July 9, 2026, at 1:30 PM EST.
