Description
The West Virginia Purchasing Division, on behalf of the General Services Division, is soliciting bids for the replacement of the existing adhered EPDM roof and metal roof system on Building 15, a two-story office building located at 2019 Washington St. E., Charleston, WV. The scope includes demolition of the existing roof, installation of a new fully adhered 90-mil EPDM membrane on 3 inches of rigid insulation with a 1/2-inch recovery board, tapered insulation for drainage, new stainless steel scupper drains, metal flashing and coping, walkway pads, and a ballasted post and rail safety system around the perimeter. Additionally, the metal roof over the south stairwell will be replaced as an alternate. The project also requires installation of a ladder and roof hatch safety rail. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for June 22, 2026, at 1:00 PM EST at the Building 15 1st Floor Conference Room. Vendor technical questions are due by July 1, 2026, at 12:00 PM EST. Bids are due by July 8, 2026, at 1:30 PM EST.
