The Municipality of Anchorage is soliciting bids for year-round maintenance of approximately 3.11 miles of paved roads in the Valli Vue Estates Limited Road Service Area. Required services include snow clearing, ice ripping, sanding, steam thawing, summer grading, road sweeping, shoulder and ditch maintenance, culvert cleaning and unplugging, and related basic road maintenance. The contractor must provide specified equipment and qualified operators, including a grader, front-end loader, water/flusher truck, steam boiler, aggregate spreader, vacuum sweepers, laborer/traffic-control vehicles, dump truck, and tractor with mowing attachments. The contract also includes required response times, equipment and operator qualifications, reporting, permits, safety measures, and environmental compliance. The performance period is one year, with four additional one-year extension options by mutual consent. All bid items must be priced, and award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder in the aggregate.
