Description
The City of Vancouver is seeking multiple suppliers to provide commercial dump trucks, authorized trailers and equipment, and qualified operators on an as-needed basis for Streets, Waterworks, and Sewers operations. Services may include hauling aggregates, backfill, asphalt, sand, salt, waste, and spoil; construction support for trenching, paving, milling, and equipment transportation; and maintenance or emergency response such as water-break response, storm cleanup, snow operations, and after-hours callouts. The mandatory equipment category is the tandem-axle dump truck, with other configurations available subject to City authorization. Applicants must provide compliant trucks and operators, maintain required licensing, inspections, registrations, insurance, safety records, and carrier credentials, and participate in the City's RFID/telematics program if selected. The City will prequalify multiple suppliers but guarantees no minimum work volume. Applications are submitted through the Supplier Portal, and evaluation includes mandatory requirements, technical capability, sustainability, and financial criteria.
