Description
The Town of Banff is seeking two complete, fully assembled, new and unused highway tractors for municipal hauling operations. The preferred configuration is a day cab, although sleeper-cab units may be considered if they meet the mandatory requirements and technical specifications. The tractors will support regional distribution and bulk hauling, including pulling a 53-foot tri-axle trailer for long-haul waste hauling. The successful bidder must provide turnkey units ready for municipal service, including all required equipment and components, delivery, documentation, standard warranty coverage, and initial familiarization training. Bidders may propose two non-identical units if each unit meets the RFQ requirements and all differences are clearly identified in the quotation. The contract period is estimated at one month, with a proposed start date of November 1, 2026.
