Description
Laredo College District is soliciting proposals from qualified and licensed elevator contractors to provide comprehensive preventive maintenance, inspection support, regulatory testing, troubleshooting, repairs, replacement parts, emergency response, and related services for elevators and accessibility equipment owned and operated by the College. The contractor must furnish labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, permits, and technical support; maintain equipment in safe, reliable, operational, and code-compliant condition; and comply with applicable Texas elevator regulations, ASME standards, OSHA requirements, ADA requirements, and other applicable laws. The scope includes scheduled preventive maintenance, annual and category testing, firefighter emergency operation and safety-device testing, inspection support, repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, door, control, communication, and machine-room components, and 24-hour emergency response. Required response times range from one hour for entrapments and life-safety hazards to two hours for out-of-service elevators. The initial contract term is three years, with two additional one-year renewal options. Proposals must include company qualifications, experience, service capabilities, references, pricing, and the specified completed forms.
