Description
Laredo Independent School District is soliciting proposals for 3,640 wireless access points—3,500 indoor units and 140 outdoor units—to replace existing equipment across multiple instructional and support facilities. The requested solution may use Aruba equipment or an equivalent and must include necessary software and licenses, including five-year management licensing for all access points. The scope also includes turnkey installation and configuration, integration with centralized wireless management, reuse of existing cabling with remediation only upon written approval, asset tagging and serial/MAC inventory, removal and turnover of replaced access points, testing and campus/wave acceptance, closeout documentation, E-Rate eligible/ineligible cost allocation, SPI billing support, warranty/RMA information, and three comparable references. The solicitation also identifies basic maintenance of the wireless access points as a requested service.
