Description
Laredo Independent School District is soliciting an all-or-none, turnkey dedicated Internet access service for its primary core data center. The base requirement is symmetric 20 Gbps service, including transport, port capacity, routing, optical handoff, service activation, testing, monitoring, 24x7 support, and all provider-furnished components needed for production service. The service must support BGP routing for IPv4 and IPv6, multihoming, public address resources, resilient and diverse network architecture, two 10 Gbps optical interfaces or an approved equivalent, VLAN tagging, link aggregation, DNS services if requested, and scalable bandwidth alternatives. Respondents must provide route and facility diagrams, resiliency and peering information, service-level commitments, outage and maintenance procedures, monitoring and utilization reporting, escalation processes, billing details, and E-Rate eligibility allocations. The proposal must address a 99.99% availability objective, packet-loss and latency targets, a four-hour mean-time-to-repair objective, and 24x7x365 support. Required submission materials include a signed cover letter, completed pricing worksheet, technical compliance matrix, technical proposal, network and resiliency documentation, SLA, implementation plan, support and billing information, SPI billing statement, E-Rate cost allocation, three comparable references, proposed contract and exceptions, federal/state certifications, and the district vendor packet.
