Description
Laredo Independent School District is soliciting pricing for Category One internet access and data transmission services. The requirement includes a dedicated symmetric 20 Gbps base service, with capacity options up to 100 Gbps, turnkey transport and Internet connectivity, BGP IPv4/IPv6 and multihoming support, district public prefixes, native IPv6 allocation, optical handoff, VLAN/LAG interoperability, 99.99% monthly availability, a four-hour MTTR objective, 24x7x365 network operations support, utilization reporting, proactive outage and maintenance notifications, and network architecture documentation. The solicitation also requires installation and initial configuration, E-Rate program eligibility and support, separate eligible/ineligible cost allocation, and record retention. The technical appendix identifies a 36-month base term anticipated from July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2030, with two optional one-year renewals. Responses must address each technical requirement and identify any exceptions or proposed alternatives.
