Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting quotations for three individual lead-acid, wet-charged storage batteries, all identified by NSN 6140-01-457-2450 and East Penn Manufacturing Co. part number 24M-5. Each line item has a quantity of one. The batteries have a six-month, non-extendable Type I shelf life and must be delivered FOB destination within 10 days after award. The supplies are classified as hazardous material and corrosive, requiring Safety Data Sheets, compliant hazard labeling, and packaging, marking, and transportation in accordance with the stated military, federal, air, maritime, and hazardous-material requirements. Quotes must be submitted through the DLA Internet Bid Board System by October 9, 2026. The solicitation is not a small-business set-aside.
