Description
Pima County seeks HVAC air-balance testing at its Public Services Building, Tuberculosis Clinic, and Northwest Service Center. Work includes stairwell and elevator-shaft pressurization testing, door-opening force measurements, testing of pressurization and exhaust fans, and verification of negative pressure, supply and exhaust airflow, air changes, and room pressure at designated clinic and isolation-room locations. Testing is billed hourly, and pressurization testing must be scheduled outside regular work hours. The contractor must provide written reports meeting the specified fire-code testing requirements within 30 days after testing and promptly notify the County of deficient or damaged equipment. No repairs or replacements are included. Bidders must hold an eligible Arizona Registrar of Contractors license, provide proof of AABC or NEBB membership, and document at least three consecutive years in the HVAC air-balance-testing business.
