Description
Tucson Unified School District seeks Category 6 unshielded Ethernet cabling materials and installation at 26 district sites over two funding years. The scope includes cabling to support outdoor wireless access points, surface-mount boxes, outdoor weatherproof boxes, and related equipment. The requested quantities are approximately 53,130 feet of cabling and 16,100 antennas, connectors, and related components; the RFP also describes installation of outdoor access point mounting components. The district intends a two-year contract, with purchases planned across Funding Years 2027 and 2028, and may extend the contract for up to two additional one-year periods to complete the project. Proposals must include separate pricing for E-Rate-eligible and non-eligible items, installation/configuration where applicable, and contingency pricing for possible site substitutions. The RFP requires the pricing spreadsheet and vendor questionnaire, along with a non-cost response and a separate cost proposal. A mandatory site walk is required.
