Description
The City of Tucson is conducting market research for a potential Transit Account and Passenger System (TAPS), an enterprise platform for rider registration, customer accounts, identity and eligibility workflows, mobile and physical credentials, utilization tracking, customer service, administration, reporting, and analytics. The envisioned system should support transit services and preserve a path to future account-based fare collection, while addressing cybersecurity, privacy, accessibility, integrations, hosting, operations, and lifecycle support. The agency requests voluntary, non-binding information about solution models, recommended scope and delivery approach, implementation schedules, architecture, relevant experience, risks, and order-of-magnitude cost drivers. This is an RFI, not a request for binding proposals or firm pricing; responses will inform planning and any future procurement. Respondents are asked to follow the suggested response format in Appendix D and provide an electronic PDF, with an editable copy also permitted if procurement instructions allow.
