Description
Wake County Public School System is seeking a quote to repair damaged yellow school bus #1883, a 2025 Blue Bird propane bus. The bus sustained right-side body-panel sideswipe damage. Vendors must provide a detailed estimate using their own form, including complete descriptions, prices, part numbers, and a specification sheet. Shipping, handling, and miscellaneous charges must be included, and the repair total must be stated separately from sales tax. The quote must include towing the bus to the vendor's location and delivering it after repair to the WCPSS school bus garage as a separate line item; WCPSS may accept or decline that transportation option. Work must be completed within ten weeks of award, and the awarded vendor must be within a 95-mile radius of Raleigh, North Carolina. The signed quotation and all pages of the bid document must be submitted, along with proof of registration to do business in the vendor's state and proof of non-debarment by North Carolina and the federal government.
