Description
Chemung County is soliciting a contractor to maintain and repair the Sheriff's Office vehicle fleet. The scope includes scheduled preventive maintenance based on vehicle use, as-needed repairs, New York inspection services for each automobile, priority service, and minimal driving time to and from the service facility to reduce downtime for law-enforcement personnel. The contractor may not outsource mechanical work without prior written approval from the Sheriff's Office. Monthly and annual reports must identify each vehicle, mileage, work performed, labor hours, labor cost, parts cost, and total repair or service cost.
