Description
Lancaster County seeks a qualified design and branding firm to create a unified, modern visual and verbal brand identity that clearly distinguishes the County from the State of Nebraska and the City of Lincoln while representing both rural and urban communities. The work includes stakeholder interviews and brand-perception research; a logo system; an official County flag; accessible, WCAG 2.1 AA-compliant colors and typography; voice, copy, and naming standards; and a comprehensive brand standards guide. Commercial or open-source typefaces are acceptable, but fonts must be licensed for unlimited County use across print, digital, and social media without recurring fees. Website design and development are excluded from the scope. The contractor must provide production-ready brand assets, standards, templates, and editable source files, including Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva deliverables. All agencies led by appointed directors are expected to transition to the new brand, while elected offices retain discretion subject to applicable law. The Lancaster County Board of Commissioners will provide final approval. The County has not established a budget or not-to-exceed amount, and progress or milestone billing will not be allowed. Proposals must include the specified company information, experience narratives for three similar projects, staffing and subcontractor information, resumes, a technical proposal, and a project schedule.
