Description
The City of Lincoln, Nebraska, is soliciting construction bids for rehabilitation of approximately 2,656 linear feet of an existing 48-inch CMP sanitary sewer between A Street and Rosa Parks Way. The work includes mobilization, construction staking, clearing and grubbing, traffic control, concrete plugs and collars, replacement of sanitary sewer manhole rings, frames, covers, and seals, a 48-inch antimicrobial spincast cementitious pipe liner, antimicrobial cementitious manhole lining, sewer cleaning, pre- and post-lining televised inspections, pumping and bypassing operations, and qualified railroad flaggers. The contractor must coordinate with BNSF and property owners, obtain required permits, maintain sewer flow and local access, submit bypass pumping and traffic-control plans, and provide required inspections, testing, restoration, and project closeout. Substantial completion is required within 150 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed, with final completion within 180 calendar days. The engineer's estimated total bid is $1,326,697.42, and performance and payment bonds each equal to 100% of the contract amount upon award.
