Description
Lincoln Electric System is soliciting a general construction contractor for the Terry Bundy Generating Station Landfill Gas to Natural Gas Conversion Project. The work includes demolition of existing landfill gas piping, conduit, metering, and related equipment; installation of new natural gas piping, pressure-reducing regulators, flow meters, a slam-shut valve, an electric natural gas heater, piping supports, concrete foundations, structural steel, coatings, electrical raceways and controls, current transformers, terminal blocks, a test switch, power-quality analyzers, and PLC inputs. The contractor must support commissioning and startup, coordinate with the owner’s lockout/tagout and safety procedures, and provide full-time site supervision. The bidder must complete the LES Construction Contract and Equal Employment Opportunity Compliance Form. The successful bidder must provide insurance meeting the contract requirements and performance and labor-and-material payment bonds, each in an amount at least equal to the contract price, from appropriately licensed and rated Nebraska providers. The bid must be submitted electronically through the LES Online Procurement System; paper copies are not accepted.
